Comedone Extractor

Comedone extractor (blackhead extractor) is the tool that the professional’s use to properly and precisely remove your blackheads. This is intended to only remove blackheads; leave your whiteheads and pimples to the professionals. The thin loop design is ideal for precision of the extraction, yet thick enough not to damage the skin.

Directions:

• Wash your face and pat dry.
• Place the small looped end over the chosen blackhead and lightly press down. Make sure that the extractor is parallel to the skin; you don’t want to be pointing down on the skin, as that can abrade your tissues and cause damage.
• Leave that particular area alone briefly; you will come back to it. You are allowing the skin to naturally swell the follicle to assist you with the next time you go back to it. This is needed to protect your skin. You do not want indentions of the metal.
• After two minutes you can go back to the blackhead and see if there is any more debris within that particular follicle.
• Sanitize your instrument by first cleaning with anti-bacterial soap and then soak the end loop in 70% rubbing alcohol. This will have it prepared for the next time you need it.
• Apply a cold compress to the area's that got treated. This cold acts as an anti-inflammatory and will help reduce the inflammation of the area.

Warning: Only intended for sole use; you do not want to share bodily fluids with your friends. If you must pick, do NOT do it daily; the skin needs time to heal itself. Recommendations are every 2 weeks or one time a month. Keep the schuamburg as flat to the skin as possible and do not apply heavy forces. NOT to be used on cystic acne; there is a tremendous amount of bacteria that can pose a threat if extracted improperly.
