M.D. FORTE Facial Cleanser III, with higher levels of glycolic acid than M.D. FORTE Facial Cleanser III , removes daily residue, makeup, and oil, all without irritation.  Leaves skin exceptionally soft and clean.  This unscented and soap-free cleanser is ideally suited for skin that is accustomed to M.D. FORTE Facial Cleanser II or when higher concentration of glycolic acid is desired.

Facial Cleanser III contains a 20% glycolic compound.  The highest level of a glycolic acid cleanser available.  This is a great exfoliator because the glycolic is the active for exfoliation.  Cleanses all skin types. Effectively washes away oil, makeup, and surface debris without drying skin. High level of glycolic compound makes this product ideal for skin that has cycled through a Level II glycolic based cleanser or as directed by a physician.

Facial Cleanser III (20% Glycolic Compound*), with a higher level of Glycolic Compound, is perfect for patients who have used glycolic-based products for 4 to 6 months or are ready to advance to greater exfoliation as directed by a dermatologist.

*Glycolic Compound is a complex, pH-balanced mixture of glycolic acid, ammonium glycolate, purified water, and higher-molecular-weight oligomers of glycolic acid with an approximate activity level of 60%. It is designated on product labels as the ingredients "glycolic acid" and "ammonium glycolate."

Directions: Apply small amount of cleanser to washcloth or fingers. Use circular movements. Rinse well.  Directions Step 1 (Cleanse) of the MD Forte 4-Step Daily Regimen. Use morning and evening. Gently massage a quarter size amount over skin. Rinse with warm water and a clean wash cloth, pat dry.  Use AM and PM as directed by a physician or skin care professional.

Caution: For external use only.  Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.  If irritation occurs or redness delevops, wash product off, discontinue use and consult a physician.  Use an SPF 15 or greater sunscreen every day to prevent any increase in sun sensitivity.
